Well I’m 30mumble years old, live in the UK, I’m married to an American (who’s also taken British citizenship), and I home educate our four year old son, G.

I am studying for a degree in English Language and Religious Studies with the Open University. I’m a very amateur photographer and my latest hobby is sewing, I’m trying out embroidery. I wanted to jump on the knitting thing, but the fact is I suck at it. I have visions of curling up on the sofa, listening to the BBC World Service while embroidering fabulous patterns or making quilts that will become family heirlooms. But I believe the reality will be more like half-watching trashy tv, pricking my fingers and bleeding over the fabric which will be so mangled it’ll be fit only for dusting furniture.
