"I can't figure out what these parents rights are that the government
keeps banging on about. What rights do I have (as a parent) that the
government is trying to quash?

I fear the government is using this phase "childrens rights Vs parents
rights" because no parent in their right mind would state they are more
important than their children and so its a good catch phrase to get the
public onside."
