The picnics have started - the first one took place in Cumbria on Thursday and
went really well.
Another one takes place in Bath today - hope they have a lovely time.
We now have 41 picnics on the map. Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard
to make this happen, it's been fantastic working with you all.

I have set up a blog as a central place that anyone can access information about
this event, e.g. people who are not in Yahoo groups or Facebook, friends and
family and media.

Feel free to distribute this link and take material from the blog and use
wherever you want to.
At the moment, blog contents include a full list of picnic locations (towns, not
specific venues, for safety reasons) and dates, the content of the national
press release (1What is the Not Back To School Picnic?') and the general picnic
flyer picture and information on it. I hope to add reports from picnics as they
happen - or realistically a little while later...!
